Looks like a type R and ZL1 had a baby and not a pretty one. Is adding 100hp to a Z06 really the answer considering the Z06 can’t really get all the power down? I love the horsepower when it’s actually effective. I’ll take a grand sport instead or something German.

No but they’ll make this model soon too. Demand is already dictating it and P Co has already implied there may be. So that means yes. And hopefully soon.

I think it’s supposed to look a bit broken aesthetically because it’s a badass ballistic missile. If you want silky smooth organic may I present S, GTS, and Turbo not to mention us beautifully understated Panamera in it 20 iterations.

But the 80's 300 Z was a cow around corners. I had one 🤢

But that generation of Mitsubishi (with the boxed flares), and Rx7 for that matter, were created after the 944 and were in essence copycat cars. The Japanese are smart and know that Porsche had something good on it’s hand. I consider the 944 to be THE “box flair” king of the Eighties although the M3 was pretty damn

Frikin stunning!! In love with the red and mods. Damn!

It’s a 30 plus year old car. What do you expect? If a car was well cared for these things were maintained through its life like any car. If it wasn’t cared for then you’re the one getting stuck with the upcare and cost. My mother had a few of these, all new and all white, through the eighties thanks to me, and my

I’ve read something that said 710hp. A journalist article not unlike the one from Automobile mag that also went along for a ride in one of the prototypes.

Give the man his goggle glasses back. Oh he who throws stones..... to the juke lover on the left.

Some one hasn’t been paying attention for the last few years. There have been a number of air cooled cars that have fetched over 1M at auction. Sucks for some of us but yes people do love them that much. At this point it’s really about who’s carrying more bitcoin.

I am convinced Porsche will have an all E-911. It just makes sense. Lighter weight, better balance (Although I bet they’d push the batteries a bit further to the rear to give a bit of front end lightness and better rear traction), lighting quick acceleration, etc. With the mission-e and it’s derivatives coming out

not!

It’s faster than a 996 turbo. Test drove a dot two recently. Many car rags are seeing 3.1-2 0-60 times and mid to low 11's in the quarter mile in the 991.2. This is undoubtedly quicker than a 996tt. The 991.2 GTS w 450hp is going to be faster than the 911.1 GT3/RS. I’m willing to bet on it.

A convertible yellow bird? RuF would never build such a thing.

I believe they said first targa build in CA.

I love the fact that the 911 has such an amazing diverse aftermarket. To each is own is right. To use a car such as this only speaks volumes to this cars value. People love them for a reason. I personally love them out of the box but you can’t deny the passions of singer, wrb, ruf, etc.

Guys for those of you who know Porsche history screw on fenders are not a Japanese only thing. Porsche has used these on their race cars which is where he gets his inspiration. And some production Porsches have had screw on fenders I.e. 964 GT2, etc.
