They seem to equate science and politics, basically, which makes them believe not just that science can be questioned (which is true) but that it can be questioned by just any asshole with an opinion (which isn’t). Science can be questioned and overturned by better science.

People probably didn’t see the point. Pokemon Go’s gameplay loop makes a lot of sense. In the traditional games you go around, catching Pokémon, and then training them for battle against other people or in Gyms. Go lets you do all that, and the Pokédex spurs completionists just like in every other Pokémon game.
