I actually have no idea who CPO Sharkey is. And I just googled it and seems like it was a TV show starring Don Rickles. Now I'm way more confused.

I don't really see the similarities although I'm not going to sit through the whole video to separate ways to prove that to myself. However, the first 30 seconds or so really remind me of Tobias's group of street thugs turned dancers.
Yes but if you actually listen to Tin Machine, that review makes a lot of sense.
I saw them in concert in 1982 (in an arena) when I was 8 years old. It was great.
That was a clear example of how being bad at small talk is amplified when you include someone's horrible assault as a topic. A shocking failure…..
I mean, it's one banana, Michael. What could it cost, ten dollars?
This one really should have been a panel discussion with Smoove B taking counterpoint.
So this is just an hour and a half of balls. Right?
I just looked it up and it switched in 1981 only on the weekends. I honestly didn't watch that much TV so I probably wouldn't have noticed this switch.
I'm old but I guess not that old (42). I had cable from the time I can remember anything but I don't remember that.
I do too. I also remember when MTV wasn't 24 hours
Didn't John Oliver cover this last year?
I don't think a braided pony tail qualifies as a mullet. It's far too committed. A mullet is more of a compromise between two bad ideas that's actually far worse than both.
The worst part of this story is that Shia Labeouf did not get punched in the face.
He's pretty much the exact opposite of a prima donna.
I think the Punk/New Wave thing was always an act. They all had pretty different backgrounds (especially Andy Summers) and really just wanted to be successful. I see the Sting solo stuff as what he was more interested in, even if it was sort of boring to me (and got worse as he got older - imo).
I just saw that for the first time a few weeks ago. It was pretty interesting. Andy Summers must have just sat on the sidelines letting the two of them duke it out. I'm actually surprised they remained a band for as long as they did.
I've actually never heard this song before. Listening to it now and its just as bad as I thought it would be. But isn't that Stevie Wonder on harmonica?
Hey Death. Donald Trump is right over there. I'm just saying…
I'm that way too but for someone like FZ I'm always more interested in getting them hooked and hoping they'll get to the rest of it. One of the first albums I got was Uncle Meat, which is great but has like 45 minutes of dialog (at least the 90s CD reissue did) that scared off my roommates in college.
