These are all great. But I always recommend Overnight Sensation or Apostrophe as a starting point (followed by Hot Rats).

Even if you're wrong, your heart is in the right place.
Did bands ever make tons of money off record sales, even when Records/Tapes/CDs actually sold in large numbers? I'm sure they made more than they do now but I always thought that touring (and all the related merchandise) was where bands actually supported themselves. I know they used to get a decent amount of money…
I think its a few different things. In terms of physical reaction time, it doesn't slow down people's physical reaction the way that alcohol does. Even if you've had 1 drink and are legally under the limit, you're reaction time is delayed. This is rarely an issue if nothing goes wrong but if something does, you…
I also know of Lalique from the AR (specifically the blue and pink perfume bottles someone brought in).
I saw this in the theaters (yeah I'm old) and I honestly thought Mira Sorvino was Spanish. But I've never been that good with accents….
I don't think it was ever recorded in the studio (although I'm not positive) but there is at least one bootleg of it from the yardbirds era. But I could see them just denying that it happened and not being challenged in that era. I just googled it and there is video of them playing it on French tv. It sounds pretty…
Is he going to smoke crack on stage with his cat?
If you read their actual comments, one of their biggest complaints is that Steve Miller didn't know who the Black Keys were and made no effort to find out. That and the fact that they had to travel and weren't paid.
You're forgetting that they ripped off contemporaries as well. Bert Jansch, Spirit, Jake Holmes. They were all around within years of each other. I don't think it makes them any worse (I am a big fan) but there a numerous examples of them just stealing from their peers.
The estate of Bert Jansch just perked up their ears. Black Mountainside my ass…..
No they knew about it the whole time. They were contemporaries and literally toured together. Spirit's song came out first. They did try ask ask them for credit but Led Zeppelin said no and they never pursued it legally. Look up Jake Holmes' Dazed and Confused. There are many stories floating around about that one…
I was pretty excited about them when I found them about 15 years ago. I'm always surprised that they weren't bigger. I'm a pretty big music nerd who grew up with classic rock radio and I'd never heard of them until I found them on my own. Very underrated guitarist and their drummer was great for a rock band (the fact…
No he crossed that line at some point in the Ford administration. He claimed that Russia had developed a secret weapons technology that was so clandestine that there was no evidence it existed. This lack of evidence was cited as the evidence that it existed.
Wait. Does he have the right sized head?
I'm always slight depressed when I bring that film up and no one has even heard of it. It such a great film. The "black meets white" scene is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
I would read The One by RJ Smith. It was clearly written and very informative.
He's still more qualified than Hannity.
Obama?
I knew I was doing something wrong.
