Looking forward to this. Will wash away my Gravity Falls sorrows
Four out of the five look to have the possibility to be tear jerkers based on the descriptions. At least one of these will be, I’m sure. Steven Universe will not be sated until drinks all the world’s tears.
“Steven’s Birthday” – Steven has a birthday party out at the barn, and decides he has some growing up to do.
So on the topic of the show, I’m not the only one reminded of Anna Pavlovna from War and Peace by Pearl, right? It seems to be implied that they both served a major leader, derive their considerable power from that relationship, and are incredibly devoted to their mistresses despite basically being the help.
WOOP WOOP!
Everyone just stand up and sing!
This “fits and spurts” BS has to stop. Cartoon Network seems to be trying to get the show to die off by strangling it’s releases all the while cramming 8 hours of Teen Titans Go down the viewers throat each day.
“The Answer”– Garnet finally tells Steven the story of how she came to be a Crystal Gem.
I’m hoping we’ll see some more Ruby and Sapphire, since Garnet said they were planning to surprise him on Steven’s birthday.

The line of the episode belongs to Steven and his “Stay away from my Connie!”
A line from Dr. Maheswaran that I couldn’t help but find amusing.
I thought the delivery of the line “I hate that abacus” was hilarious.
I’m really hung up on these cluster Gems and the idea there are multiples of the big ones as demonstrated in this episode.
Interesting trend on the Io9 main page right now.
I randomly watched this episode yesterday at the University that I go to. They have a wall of nine tvs in the Jounralism Building and it was playing on one of them without sound and without subtitles. I haven’t watched any of this show before but I was familiar with the premise from an article I had read when it firt…
The Connie episodes are consistantly my favorite bits of what is already an incredibly awesome show.
My favorite Connie line will always be: “What will I tell my optometrist?!”
Steven Universe made a triumphant return last night, back on a normal weekly format after recent scattered,…
