@Matrim: Your friend is in booster denial. Adjusting the game is completely different. Lots of games lock achievements out at certain difficulty levels. Note how L4D2 has two achievements for each campaign; one for completion, and one (collectively) for all five at expert.

@yourcitylovesyou: Nah, it was more at the canned laughs at the gentleman in the video going "AFK" every time he spoke three words to the other person in the room.

@Malice Blackhart: She's as much of a loser as the entire Booster community. I don't think it's fair to call these people "gamers." Obviously, they'd all buy three different regional copies of a game that would give you 1,000 gamerpoints for pressing the B button nine hundred and fifty eight times. They get

@Conanthecanadian: Extraction retains it's horror in the pacing. Since you're thrust through the game at the pace it wants you to go, (as a rail shooter) you don't get to stop and take a breath, nor can you creep gently around that corner, gun drawn, at your own pace. You're thrown into the thick as soon as you

@AcidSanta: They're even more terrifying in NewGame+

@Conanthecanadian: Have you played Extraction? It's still fargin' scary, even though there's a small cadre of humans. Co-op could be executed with a modicum of care and still be survival horror.

@kevinl: Neck Guard = holographic projector.

Hmm. Dead Space Yes.

@mjn328: The guy with the giant prehensile sword, and the DeathMetal character, I don't remember from the first game at all. . . my memory might just be shit, too.

I still worry that all the retro sensibilities and charm of this game won't translate in HD.

I loved inFamous. Will I boot it again for one superpower?

@beastrn: Wow, what a horrible reason to be unhappy with a port. Complain about potential quality issues, but to complain that other people get to play a game you love is fanboy idiocy. Generalizing a whole group of people because you don't want/understand the iphone is also a bit of idiocy. Two for one, there, pal.

I just now noticed that I stopped playing my DS when you could get games on iphone. Weird, that.

@Psudonym: I think of "motion control" and I think of the computer console in Minority Report.
