Love Scott Pilgrim, though I didn't get a chance to see it in theaters. I do proudly own the BluRay, though. But yeah, I can see this as similar, since they're both anime-influenced, and run on the "FUCK YEAH" Rule of Awesome. And their box-office looks to be sadly similar as well.
