Does it really matter? They could release a blank disc, label it Call of Duty, and "reviewers" will give it 9/10's across the board and it'll sell better than the one last year.

I could never truly immerse myself in the game because it was kind of just a point and click adventure in space. I want full modular control over every aspect of my ship and I want to use my HOTAS joystick to do it. I want to win or lose a fight based on actual skill and not by who fired first and other random…
Yes I know the game, yes I have it, but saying it's better or worse than star citizen is highly premature. I also believe star citizen will probably be far more immersive, with the whole "you can actually control your pilot around and outside of the ship" thing. Plus the functionality of the ships and everything else
And that's exactly what SC is going to be like. EVE lost me because it kept me at arms length. It never let me exist in the universe, I was just a ship in it. There was a detachment.
Their will be systems in place to prevent griefing so they'll have to find another game.

Star citizen is going to be far from dumbed down, but EVE was never truly immersive. There was a level of disconnect that star citizen and elite will likely remove.
Not really. Valkyrie puts you in a fighter cockpit but lacks the ultimate depth that Roberts is going for.
May I suggest that if they hadn't turned every edm and rock station into country/pop stations, maybe they'd have lasted another few years?
