But at that point you (and your party) will obliterate anything that’s less than an existential threat to the universe. Level 9 and Epic spells were leagues beyond anything you have access to before. A well crafted Weapon

It’s also f’ing ridiculous because we gamers bitch all the time about games not being delivered “complete”. Here we have a game and a dev telling us, “Here it is, 100% of the game!” and some of us are like, “Okay, but maybe moar?”

Screw expansions, just give us new modules to play instead. Having campaign modules for different places from across the D&D realms (Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Planescape, Icewind Dale) would be fantastic and then you wouldn’t need to worry about figuring out how to link them to the main story.

That would be a good “DLC”, tools to let users create their own campaigns and possibly have a player as active DM with this game engine.

I honestly don’t know about that. The only F Zero game that broke 2m was the first game. The other console games sat at about 1-1.5m. And yeah the console install base is much larger now but there hasn’t been a console release in 20 years.

I look at Perfect Dark, back on the ol’ N64, and just think, holy crap, you could not make this game today. The number of weapons, multi maps, bots in the maps, difficulty-based objectives, and bonus levels? Today, that’d be like $150 worth of Season Pass Content.

It’s a big deal because Larian are still making videogames instead of monetisation platforms.
