I feel like it’s worth mentioning that you can pick up the base game for free and then get the director’s cut upgrade for $4.99.

He’s got over 15 million subs on YouTube.  Your anecdotal lack of awareness of him does not negate his popularity.

Kudos to Linus for having the maturity and humility to make this move. This right here is why a ton of game studios and tech companies crash and burn or end up with super toxic work cultures, because the founders were coders or designers or artists—people who don’t necessarily have the skillset, temperament, or actual

You’re not the only one, but you’re definitely in the minority. That’s a key thing that differs Mortal Kombat from other fighting games. Even when the first game came out they were pushing boundaries in terms of gore.

Shocking that a professor has no idea how ChatGPT works!

I have a soft spot for Mortal Kombat as an idea, but I can’t be the only one who is *exhausted* by the fatalities at this point, right? The trailer had me until it got MK 11 levels of gross. That’s probably on me for hoping they would rethink how the gore is portrayed.

Argh, because I own one of the games already, it won’t let me purchase the bundle and instead I have to buy them individually, doubling the price compared to if it just let me get the one redundant game. Wow, such discount, so UX.

If I remember correctly, it was only in rotation for a very small number of game modes. 1v1 and maybe team tactical? I almost exclusively played team deathmatch and old school td, and as such never played shipment unless it was local play.

Oh my friend, I think you’re the one who’s been hurt. Luke writes an article explaining why it’s okay to have difference of opinions on a game, and you lash out like a 12 year Warzone player who just lost his Gulag.

This one goes out to everyone who has ever said “only fans of this series should be on the review”, a practice that serves nobody except the fans who were already gonna play the game anyway.

they do. im on one now. hulu with d+ added on for 3$. if you get in on the black friday deal you can get both for 5$ a month.   just remember to cancel your sub more than 30 days before the sale or they wont let you get the black friday price.  i forgot last year until 2 weeks before.

She’s not fat tho? Like I can't find any depiction of her as anything other than very fit and muscular. Not as muscular as zarya but still strong looking. You don't have to be fat to like food/want to eat a lot

BMI had J-shaped associations with overall mortality and most specific causes of death; for mental and behavioural, neurological, and external causes, lower BMI was associated with increased mortality risk.”
Being bigger makes you die

I think it’s fair to identify a portrayal as overly tropey, especially when those tropes are grounded in attitudes towards people that can be harmful.

But also like... “seek to connect body size, mortality and food”? Those things... are very much connected. More food makes you bigger. Bigger people die faster. Those

we would simply like human rights. but governments seem intent on taking those away. you see the issue here is that trans people refuse to be silent when it comes to the stripping away of our rights, liberties, and freedoms, and for some reason, that is upsetting to you.

no journalist is completely unbiased. i do my best to be as unbiased as possible when writing news and investigations.

ppl just have spare time to be weirdos on the world wide web, i suppose.

it is a genuinely helpful tool for my career and how i connect with a great deal of my audience, find leads, and pursue stories. it is not a luxury item, hobby, or entertainment. i can fully admit that my use of twitter is deeply shitty, morally speaking, and if i had a better option i would use it. i think that we

I currently live in the UK (and have for the past decade). This country went from being relatively tolerant of trans rights (treating it as a private issue where it was seldom news-worthy) to hostile (trying to close down the one gender clinic and frequently being in the news). And a lot of it had to do with Rowling

i am a real journalist: this is an op-ed.
