The problem with unions happens when they become too powerful. How many times have you heard of a union calling for a strike where they clearly shut down a place.

What amuses me is your position is “Let’s protect needless work” instead of “How can I make a process more efficient?”

In many cases, you’re right, there may be a preponderance of evidence, but not 100% certainty of guilt. However, there are also cases where yes, there is 100% certainty of guilt, where a person was witnessed committing horrible atrocities. I don’t believe you can say there is no such thing as 100% certainty.

Gilmore was approximately 3 months between guilty verdict and execution. He had to tell the ACLU to stop trying to appeal on his behalf.
