As someone who liked Marathon, and knows a lot of others who did, absolutely no-one who ever played Marathon wanted the name to be slapped onto what is basically a very pretty version of Escape From Tarkov.

I won’t be standing in a line either, because taking lessons learned from Metroid Prime Remastered, I made the wise decision to preorder ahead of time - usually not a good move except for very specific games.

As much as I’m more of a digital-games kind of guy, I’ll never judge Switch owners for going out of their way to get physical copies of games because it beats the usual Switch tradition of having to delete 4/5 games off your SD card every time a new one with a big file size comes out.
