The Netflix release of Evangelion is missing a hell of a lot more than just the ending, which on its own would be tragic. The new dub and sub translation also suck quite mightily.

AOC = 100% accurately describes a thing, in this case by calling out what is happening on the border (yes, they are concentration camps)

My thinking is that since they seem to be using BotW as a base for the game, they have quite a bit of work already done. Granted, that’s a hope, but not unreasonable?

I spent all the money when it came to backing this Kickstarter. Having played the game now, it was totally worth it to do so. My childhood has not been ruined by this game; rather, it is screaming with pure, unfettered joy.

The honest answer is probably “whenever they’re ready.” But I can’t imagine that they’d show any kind of footage without the game ready to come out within a year or 2.

If they’re the Japanese versions, I think that they should be harder. I’m pretty sure that’s the case for Castlevania III. Don’t quote me on that, though.

Yup! Everyone is going to get what they want, for the most part. About as good an outcome as you can expect these days. Now I get to find out what the hell the Mark II is.

So long as we get Reiche and Ford’s continuation, I can live with how things are. Brad deserved to get destroyed for what he did, but the game we are all dreaming of, the true next chapter of Star Control, is finally going to get made. And Star Control: Origins can go off and be its own thing.

If you get to play as just Link, that’s fine by me. If you get to play as Link and Zelda, that’s fine by me too. If you get to play as Link, Zelda, and more, that’s also fine by me. Undermine the positive feeling? If Nintendo comes out tomorrow and announces that, as per usual, you can only play as Link, there will still be plenty of positive feeling. It’s a Zelda game. All Zelda games ever do is make people happy, playable Zelda or not.

Oh my GOD the Star Control continuation that I have been dreaming of for DECADES is finally going to happen!

Anything is possible. But I think you’re reaching. And the idea that a ton is shown? It’s a teaser. That’s all. Maybe wait for some more information beyond a minute-or-so long teaser before jumping to conclusions about what you did or didn’t see? At some point we’ll get a full reveal about what this game is about and…

Buy it anyway!

I’d love to be wrong. But when it comes to Zelda, Nintendo is very patient. Let’s hope you’re right, though!

It’s so great when the adventure continues, isn’t it? This is fantastic.

I would bet we don’t see this new Zelda for at least a year and a half, maybe 2. Nintendo won’t rush things.
