Did someone say....Cabbage?
NOPE. No no no no no NO NO NO. Just...no. Keep JJ Abrams the hell away from the MCU. Jesus H. Christ, he would find a way to kill it. Somehow, some way.
J.J. Abrams is trash. I’ve never liked a single thing he’s ever done. He sucks. And here’s Hollywood trying to back up a Brinks truck to his front door so they can partake of his borderline mediocrity. Blech.
The 2016 movie was “fine?” No, it was terrible.
The smile stays with me because I want to wipe it off his smug MAGA face with my fists.
This motherfuckin’ white kid right here needs a fist to the face. Repeatedly. It’s the only thing Nazis like him understand.
Great review, Zack. You nailed the problems with this episode. But you’re trying to be hopeful about this show, whereas I gave up on it from the start. Discovery picked up right where it left off in season 1: being genuinely terrible.
Replace “taking your top off” with “taking your pants off.” And instead of a woman doing it, replace it with a man. Same situation otherwise. Is everything still fine? Face it: you’re defending someone being an abusive piece of shit. Which says quite a lot about you.
Show you where you’re defending her? That’s all you’ve been doing. Either defending her or minimizing her abuse. Hell, you just did it. You’re making a comparison between the shitty things she did on set to the much more shitty things that other men have done in order to excuse her behavior. “Sure she tried to push bot…
I agree with that, but it still doesn’t excuse her horrible behavior.
LOL. You’re defending someone who committed abuse on her set, abuse that included racial abuse, and then tried to pressure another woman to do nudity and god knows what else on her set, so much so that the other woman left the show, and I’m the MRA? You’re a fucking piece of work, dude. Truly. You are one genuine…
Not so much, no.
They really shouldn’t do this. But they’re going to, and it won’t turn out well, and the whole cycle will start up again in a few more years.
That would require the AVClub to have the slightest iota of integrity. Alas, they do not.
Well this is depressing.
I mean...he got better. Mostly. :/
Here’s what I want to know: why?
The less EA Star Wars games, the better.
What’s wrong with you? I dunno. Chicken pox. Let’s go with that. Eat some soup.
