If you love fighting games and light-hearted romance, Hi Score Girl is the anime for you. (It’s really good, btw.) And it was nice to see in watching this how Japanese arcade/game culture in the ‘90s was not so far off from the one here in the United States. Ahhh, the memories.

Stardock (in particular Brad Wardell) is the reason that Ford and Reiche can’t make their new game which is a proper continuation of Star Control (it takes place after Star Control 2) and thus would make it a game I have been desperate to see come to life for more than a quarter…

Activision is finally coming out and trying to kill Blizzard out in the open. I’d say I was shocked/surprised, but I’m not. Activision has the same corporate ethos of EA, after all. They murder great game studios and have no shame about doing so.

Wow. That was bad. I thought the Hellboy trailer was bad, but nope, this one...this is bad. I mean...the whole reason the MIB movies work is because of the chemistry between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. Take those two out and no wonder you get something as unwatchable as this trailer.

People’s memories these days are short. And have been for a long time. There’s no sense of history or remembrance of it. It’s sad and fucked up but how the hell are you supposed to fix it?

There’s no downside to this. Hell, it will probably boost the TV audience for figure skating if more stuff like this keeps happening.
