It's amazing how it can be both so simple and yet so epic. There's so much beauty, tension and melancholy dripping from every element of the song.

God, I could listen to like a 2-hour version of "The Curse" and still want more. I think I'll go listen to it on repeat for at least a half-hour right now.

You're a Cardinals fan, aren't you?

I dunno, it's definitely part of MLB. Hell, a lot of teams don't even employ enough Spanish language interpreters. I don't remember what part was offensive?

Yeah, they're in a tricky spot at the moment. Once the World Series is over, the public's already piddling interest in baseball basically goes into hibernation until March. But having it run now in direct competition with actual games isn't the best thing, either. I'm sure once Fox starts airing World Series games,

I think he's 36 and she's like 22 or 23?

True. But at least he isn't ever-present like this is some "Angels in the Outfield" business.

I think you mean "anti-machismo" sentiment, which is rather welcome.

I'm happy about two things in particular. One being the absence of Ghost Dad. I was worried it was going to be "a thing" for the whole series. Sounds like they're damned if they do, damned if they don't. If they slow it down to appease those that like a slow simmer, they'll get hammered for taking too long by those that want excitement on a weekly basis.

What a sublime username/avi.

THAT'S where I remember seeing this. Thanks for the reminder.

I always considered Toadies to be a 2-hit wonder. While not nearly as popular as "Possum Kingdom" was, "Away" got a ton of airplay. That may be due to my proximity (Tulsa) to their DFW home base.

JITB tacos are definitely a YOLO menu choice.

I've given Mellow Mushroom a good 4 tries and it just doesn't cut it for me.

LOVE Jersey Mike's. It's a shame Subway got to Mike Trout before they could.

Little Caesar's has the commercials of any fast food place, too.

I'd get double slaw if I wasn't unwilling to part with the toast or fries.

Yeah, it used to be the go-to pizza for my family growing up. This was before they went to the "hot and ready" model. Instead of folding cardboard boxes, they had long slabs of cardboard with butcher paper draped over two pizzas. It was kind of a pain to transport home but it was novel. I'd always go for the slice
