"Aurora" is my second-favorite Foo Fighters song behind "Everlong" and in a way feels like its sequel. Not as visceral and manic but still ethereal and romantic.

I've never been a big fan of extended "shredding" or whatever, so my favorite solos are usually brief but perfectly fitting.

Just like every other part, that solo in "Carry the Zero" is perfect.

He IS Nora's brother after all.

She did go in for a Holy Wayne hug, as they flashed back to briefly this episode. So she's not completely immune from betraying her brain.

I really wish NBC had those shirts with Larry's face and GUILTY above it in their online store. Guess I'll just have to make one myself.

Has Ed Helms' star fallen enough for him to return to TV yet? He does a good job straddling the line of likable that would help keep his innocence/guilt up in the air.

"Courtesy like" and the Netflix disc were really good ways to end those jokes.

Yes, totally irredeemable.

Oh, I didn't mention 'There's Nothing Wrong With Love' because it's starkly different from the kind of records they make these days, which honestly hasn't drifted too far from PFNO/KITAS sonically. Bet it's definitely a landmark.

I dunno if I can make it through 'Grand' without my teeth rotting out through my ears.

Exactly. Imagine a version of "Westfall" in the context of one of their last few albums.

Haha, nail on the head. Though at least Barnes finally came to that realization himself and did 'Lousy with Sylvianbriar.' Sadly, it seems like they're already drifting back off course just 2 albums later.

Kinda like The New Pornographers, Built To Spill kinda screwed themselves over by setting the bar really high ('Perfect From Now On', 'Keep It Like a Secret') to where everything else is merely "good" instead of "great." Every album since then is perfectly fine but not really anything you'd be effusive about. Really,

'In Rainbows' is the best of their non-MONUMENTAL albums ('OK Computer' & 'Kid A').

I feel bad seeing 'Wilco (the album)' getting shit on even though I can't really argue. I just have a soft spot for "Country Disappeared" and "Solitaire" and wish they'd get a little more love.

Oh man, Matt & Kim. I'm happy they're getting all that commercial money now but I cannot stand to listen to them at all now.

Same bands for me but different points.

Maybe not the WHOLE world…lol

I always thought 'Sky Blue Sky' is where my devotion to Wilco started to evaporate, but it's probably more specifically "Less Than You Think," so I can see where you're coming from. There's enough fantastic stuff on AGIB for me to still love it as a whole, but it definitely gave me a "Wait a minute…" moment.
