As I'm currently living in Fayetteville, it was pretty bizarre when they started singing so specifically about Fayetteville, Arkansas. There's definitely a small "hippie" vibe here in town that fits in a little bit with the song. I could definitely see the Fayettechill people throwing "hot hot summertime" onto some

Trumpy, no!

I'd watch that show, too.

I just don't want it to get to the place where they're grasping for ideas or retreading ground. They've done an amazing job putting together great season after great season without any major missteps. But looking across the tv landscape, there's almost always a tipping point where they just sputter along and people

Yeah, this is pretty standard for my schooling as well. A week or so of movies, no homework or lessons. There'd usually be a 'field day' thrown in there. It was the best.

If they don't want to retread the whole "not as much Sue-time" (which they shouldn't be doing at this point in the show's run) maybe they could have Brad and Sue go ga-ga for the same guy or something like that. It'd be a nice response to the times they've had Axl and Hutch thirsting for ladies.

Seeing as how this is probably/hopefully the last season for The Middle, I'm not worried about it moving. Now, if it were a fledgling young show like Happy Endings or Suburgatory…

Carly and Darrin dating were basically plot devices, though. Any time a secondary character has a significant other created/revealed, it's only in relation to how it affects the Hecks. Rusty's wife, Casey Wilson dating Rev. Tim Tom, Axl hooking Kenny up to hopefully lure him out of their room. While it would be nice

The make it such a point that the Hecks don't really pay him attention that it's perfectly feasible he's off on his own buckling down at school and getting into music.

As much as I would love for it to be Weird Ashley, didn't Frankie say Axl "met" the love of his life?

Those Rs… :(

Well the ones on base were S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, so they were a little more formidable. Retaining all their previous knowledge made them more difficult to dispatch and/or hide from.

Looks like there's plenty of space for HAPPY ENDINGS to return.

Hopefully moving The Middle away from The Goldbergs means they'll get their own standalone reviews next season.

It's feasible that all of the other valedictorian candidates would also be similarly inept at P.E. The ones we saw during the montage seemed to be in that camp.

Show said Penguins, indeed.

Mike didn't seem concerned at all until they pushed back against his authority. He probably took umbrage to that. Plus, as they've shown this season, he's really having a hard time adjusting to his kids being grown, so he clings where he can.

I'm really pleased with how Axl and Sue are both maturing. It's not often that characters become LESS cartoonish as a series gets into its later seasons.

The scene in Wall-E that gets me is right after Eve repairs and reboots Wall-E and he's just there, staring lifelessly at nothing. It hurts to imagine such a sweet and pure character being wiped completely from the world.

I feel stupid for how interested in this I am.
