I’m in disbelief at reading this article and alternating between awe and sadness for Noah Schnapp.

It’s not because of the 32/64 binary thing, it’s because if you use 32-bit positioning, like StarCit originally did, then the further away you get from the center of the universe the more things jitter around. Single precision floating point is not enough to represent positions in the outer reaches, as StarCit
