Idk but i would only consider a long distance bus as an rv project...(3 axle double decker Prevost - drooling) with the exemption of an IKARUS if i could find one in the states - having a famous hungarian bus with the middle joint sounds like goals... what would you do with the area where the joint is?

Did you even read that article?? The whole message is that it IS a sub 7 car but bad luck, crowded track, weather, and scheduling issues held it back, not lack of performance.

I think the “ears in the ballcap” thing has always been around...I wear those low-profile ballcaps and have somewhat big ears, so I look goofy as Hell if I don’t do the tuck.

Im 35, when did people start to tuck their ears into their ballcaps?

FIFY.
What was the owner smoking vaping when he came up with this thing?

Ok—(cracking knuckle here). Bus owner here. I know you already moved on from the bus ownership idea. But it is do-able. You gotta go into it informed. The best site is www.skoolie.net. Tons of great info-everyone is hands on people that can build their own stuff. And they happily share advice.

To me “e-ute” is much tidier and kind of sounds a little like “cute” too which is a plus. Like “Check out that cute e-ute!”

The idea wasn’t to build an electric pickup truck, it was to build a Tesla pickup truck. No way to do that except starting with a Tesla. And she did a freaking amazing job.

Sure but what’s its towing capacitance?

I heard the tumor has returned

El Camin-ohm. Resist the ordinary.

Imagine having to wear that dumb camera while you rail some dude!

“years ago"? Isint this a relatively new band?

Sonett IIs (and the handful of Sonett Is) have the two-stroke triple. What you saw are Sonett V4s. I’ve owned two of them.

Interesting, I’ve been told that getting over 100 was tough, but even 100 would be plenty and is a big bump over stock.

When I was first looking for a car to call my own, the Sonnet and Opel GT were the final two in the running. But nothing could beat those curves on the Opel.

Oh yes - she’s a sexy one for sure!

Yup.  And lighter.  And simplier.  And cooler.  And harder to find.

If’n I’m spending any $ on old micro 2-seater coupe then Opel GT is preferred.  Opel GT is like an old pin-up model ... w/ curves in all the right places.

I’m not always the one to recommend a Volvo, but in this case it fits the bill perfectly.
