Best internet post I’ve seen this month.

If you limit top speed and not power, then you'll have 1,500 HP racecars that hit whatever speed limit there is in no time on the straights. The cars will sound awful banging off their rev limiters all the time around the track, there won't be any passing on the straights, and the spectacle of racing will be highly

I agree that the fact there are "jumps" on the track is the main issue here, and flattening these crests SHOULD be the goal. That being said there's no reason that spectator safety shouldn't be improving all the time.

To play devil's advocate, why shouldn't they just change the small sections of track where the cars become airborne, (I'm talking pull up as little tarmac as possible, remove some ground from underneath to flatten the "jump", and repave) because racecars aren't designed to be doing that anyway, rather than taking the

If only I could give you more stars, I'd give you them all. In the realm of Reggae, this is one of the best tracks. In the realm of all music, I feel it's well near the top.

Wasn't expecting this, Lol'd pretty hard.

Spec racing is great. Close racing is awesome entertainment. It also helps when the cars sometimes catch air off of apex kerbing in the name of lap-times because the racing is so competitive.

If you're interested in watching the V8 Supercar races, you can find full race videos up on Youtube. No commercials and you can watch on your own time. It's pretty great.

I lol'd

Can't... resist... bringing it up... Gah!... Urgh!... *insert G-spot joke here*

I almost passed out from the awesomeness of the camera shot at 0:43. Looks like it would be a BLAST to drive there at night, they way it was lit up for the video. You can't see anything but the brightly lit circuit, and just pure black beyond. It's like a realm of motorsport heaven!

The overall shape of the R8 is rounded, and now that they are throwing in sharp angles and creases on the bodywork, it's diluting the overall effect.

I'm not a big fan of the redesign as far as exterior aesthetics are concerned. It feels just a touch too bland. However, I am super glad this thing is still 10 pot, and has the same basic shape as the original. You can't ever mistake an R8 for anything else out there, and I feel that's important. I think Audi should

I can't unsee the goofily menacing smile when you combine the headlights and the indent running across the front of the car.

BIG fan of those endplate angles. That's an awesome effect from this camera view.

Half green, half yellow side mirrors are interesting. What differentiates this from a stock P1? Just the body kit?

This article mentions the F1 cars as being easy to drive. I thought a lot of the drivers last year were struggling with the gobs of torque provided by the new engines? If F1 is easy to drive, what makes these top level drivers special? Is it more of a lap-time consistency, or just the fact that they have such quick

Now look at all the pictures again, and drink in the weirdness of the mirrors...

Those damn spooky ghosts always making ectoplasmic messes.

I lol'd so hard at the visual of someone cramming themselves in there and just moaning.
