1.8 million in seven hours. Must be some kickstarter record. At this rate it will be financed by morning

good luck

Will there be a kotaku meetup this year? First E3 I’m going to, so not sure how to get smart on evening events.

game was awesome except for the collision sound effect. sounded like a speaker pop or something whenever you bumped into a wall and drove me crazy. That said i still played the crap out of it.

they got my curiosity with the inclusion of the lost vikings. If they add Ivanzypher they’ll have my attention.

i hate weekday events. i travel for work so i miss out on all these things.

so in a nutshell, Valve has corporate aspergers

really? i found tooie to just be a bit too large. exploration was great and the interconnected worlds were pretty awesome, but I found the overall experience much less memorable than the first game. Cant actually name any one stage from tooie off the top of my head except maybe the carnival stage with the big

Ive said this countless times, but if we’re ranking batman actors, I’d say Keaton tops Bale. If we’re ranking Bruce Wayne, Bale tops Keaton.

so long as its self contained levels and none of that open world nonsense or weird editor heavy crap in american wasteland, they have my attention.

its already out no? Tech should be working already. Will look into it, thanks!

afro samurai did it too, but the cutting didnt really result in visceral dismemberment, but rather just the model splittling along the line with some generic red meat like texture in between. Perhaps going further than that might finally cross the line

oh thats disappointing. On the flipside I now know you played afterlife, which makes me happy since I thought that was one of the more forgotten lucasarts titles.

Is it that good? What I saw was pretty simple. Maybe need to re-watch. Still dont think we’ve topped soldier of fortune 2’s gore engine, which is insane considering how long ago that game came out.

oh maybe I didnt write it clearly. I think marvel still keeps some grit in its comics. Its more that in the comic world my head has always been marvel = grit, DC = wholesome, and yet the tones flipped when they translated to film.

For some reason it reminds me of afterlife (the whole managing two planes).

I may be too desensitized... Playing through the game at first I was impressed and slightly grossed out by some of them. Then I realized they seemed to all fall into similar categories of either tearing off faces, limbs, or cuts along the same line either vertically or horizontally.

growing up in the 90s, its incredible to me that the DC universe is the dark and gritty one and Marvel is the kid friendly colorful one. Back then the reason I read marvel over DC was because people died, things got violent, and there was some serious grit in the marvel books. DC on the other hand, would color blood

toad turnpike at 1? Really? Its an oval, with some cars. No room for drifting, nothing particularly memorable. Id be inclined to put it near dead last.

they’veconfirmed movie joker has no tattoos, people really need to learn to wait a minute before overreacting.
