Honestly the Rihanna shapeshifter bullshit was one of the more entertaining parts of the movie. The two mains were like walking Ambien. At least Rihanna had some kind of character going on.

Seriously, can someone less emotional and maybe a little more objective start reviewing Discovery? You know, someone who can actually discuss pros and cons of an episode without having a meltdown? What about “series” where each book tells a complete and satisfying story on its own, in addition to furthering the series as a whole. And where the author has a solid track record of regular, punctual output?  Asking for a friend.

It might not be a good decision. But it’s their decision to make. Actually, that’s not what it means. I’m a survivor of domestic abuse and from the very beginning I have NOT believed Amber Heard, and I’ll tell you why:

While it’s a good thing some of these assholes are being exposed it’s also a dangerous thing. If someone is inspired to take advantage of this trend and willing to lie about accusations just to bring someone down.

Of course A.V. Club is one of the only places to give this a moderately negative review. All of your complaints are what I enjoy most about Sanderson’s writing, as well, so this sounds like a winner to me. Will be picking it up immediately.
