They really don't. They remain obsessed, naming their pets after Penn State things (dogs named Paterno, cats named Nittany) and decorating their houses in Penn State things. I don't have any such loyalties to my college.

I have two cousins that went there and their Facebook's are full of Penn State posts. Saying "we love JoePa" still, years later. I have to hold myself back from getting very mean with them on a weekly basis. It's just disgusting and makes me so angry.

This school has such a cult, circle-the-wagons mentality that nothing would surprise me. Not just with Sandusky either, just in general. As someone that knows many, many people who went to Penn State, it seems that after they graduate, they never really leave.
