If it makes you feel better, I used my breakfast sandwich maker daily until it died. It was probably the most used small appliance in the kitchen.

Sadly, there's just too much to do. :(
I can barely deal with the idea of people putting in contacts.
Would the healthcare providers have to wash their hands and/or the instruments before shoving them up someone's vagina?
Step 4: Make sure to smash your middle finger into your dress right before it dries.
I don't know what that means. Is this a thing the kids are saying now?
I lost it when she stuck that tiny little stretchy hand to the fridge.
Well then I hope her cake tasted terrible and the photo was super pixilated!
Obviously, I wasn't there so I can't address tone but is it possible the woman was mocking herself?
For some reason this particular batch of stories seemed more fictional than true.
For starters, I do think that the first post was over the top. But this:
There was a solid 8 seconds of black screen with very a few words. Maybe this is why I'd be terrible at ad design :) but flashing "Get Help Here: numbers" seems like it would be a good approach.
Why not just put that info on the ad though? There's no reason that the numbers shown on the bottom of the site couldn't have been part of the commercial.
Perhaps. But also perhaps just a few of those millions of viewers would be motivated to get help or to help someone else.
I think this commercial had great potential. The first time I heard it, it was emotionally jarring once I figured out what was going on. I have nothing but great things to say about that woman's bravery and ingenuity and the operator's willingness to listen and figure out a way to send help. That was all excellent.…
I have an aunt (mid-70's, grew up under segregation in the South) who is convinced that the trend toward informality was backlash from the struggle of black Americans to be addressed by a title.
I know you're being a bit of an ass but, since you mentioned it, when the next generation of my family or my friends' kids starts to graduate from college, I have every intention of giving them wedding-level gifts.
You're overlooking the fact that, at some level, this comes down to financial parity. I've willingly and happily spent thousands of dollars celebrating the major milestones of friends and family members. I did it because I genuinely wanted to.
I haven't watched the final episode yet. Are there spoilers? Is it safe to read this article?
