I was one of those sexually active 14 year olds. And I was with men anywhere from 3 to 13 years older before I turned 18. I was aggressive, and some of them weren’t gross for being with me. But most were. Several in particular come to mind.

Wow. So I need to take another weekend away from news I think. I don’t know if you have ever dropped the last straw before, but well done! I’m going to go eat a million Girl Scout cookies.

Why is he raising money?

But but but gluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuten!

I always go by my senses. So I eat a lot of “sketchy” food and I’m sorry but milk is good for like 3 days max. By the time you get to the date it’s clinging to the container and seriously grosses me out.

There is only one I Kissed A Girl and it is Jill Sobule and I won’t hear another word about it.

I laughed SO hard at this. Fucking Britney! Love!

I have been on a lot of bad dates, but never has someone dared to order for me. I did have a guy criticize me for ordering crawfish at the crawfish restaurant.

Wow wow wow. Well done!

That can mean identifying as both or neither gender. I have a nonbinary friend who uses both he and she, some people prefer to use they or ze or zir. But if we ever get pregnant then Princess/Chris (both names used equally) will get to choose to be Aunt or Uncle or simply Princess or Chris to our kid.

Yeah. This is a sticky thing. I knew a trans woman who was a super duper alpha tough guy type before she transitioned and jebus fuck with the feeling of mansplaining. She would hit the exact fucking buttons and it actually ended our friendship. And the idea of how male privilege translates after transition bugged me

Well to be fair, cis men aren’t generally expected to make space for anyone or anything except their balls. There is more pressure on cis women because we tend to be expected to make space for people regardless of context. That’s a whooooole other issue.

Beautiful and well said.

I have never heard the Jose Feliciano version before, and it really see,s like this should be the correct version. It feels......sincere, and more truly “American” in a sense. The things to be proud of in this country are all based on small movements that grew big, which were anchored by people who aren’t rich white

Yayayayayayay! Best way to start my day! Wooooo! Thank you so much for this article, I love you and your music and your perspective.

I’m American but those were pretty much my answers as well.

I don’t know what that is but I’ll take a baker’s dozen.

Lin-Manuel will get all his awards. He’s an unstoppable geyser of talent and we are lucky to have him.

It reads like a parody, you can figure it out without reading it.

How would we destroy the country otherwise?
