Yeah, when I was in college I interned for a summer at an office where everyone had employer sponsored 401k. After 2.5 months working I had about $188 in my retirement account. Hooray, I was a stockowner!!

Right, a million times this. Tesla is both massively over-valued and a company that certainly appears to be around for the long-haul now. Both those things can be true.

The majority of americans may own SOME stock, but the richest 10% of households own 84% of publicly traded shares. For low income americans who own stock (less than $35k HHI), the median account is less than $10,000. So a 20% runup in the stock market does nothing to repair the damage of even a month or two out of a

The entire stock market is fake money being propped up by quantitative easing that is only really going to the investor class. If all of that money actually started circulating we might even get some inflation. If there’s anything 2020 has done, is drive that point home.

Tesla’s stock is a bubble, but that doesn’t mean that the company isn’t around for the long haul.

Not to be piling on, but power locks and windows for anything built in the last 10 years are basically rock-like reliable for the mechanisms. Basically the same for the wiring. A lot of states mandate hands free for phones with Draconian penalties if caught, so Bluetooth is a necessity. Unless you’re that one person

I hadn’t thought of this, but it makes total sense. The other Teslas, even if they’re not all great designs, were clearly designed by professional designers. The Cybertruck, on the other hand, was clearly designed by an overconfident amateur who nobody had the guts to say “no” to.

I think what stood out to me most was his distinction that the Cybertruck is a rather unfriendly design that gives the impression of protection rather than warmth. It’s a take that goes beyond the usual “oh, you just dislike it because it’s different” and really hits home at the kind of issues that our society is

Let’s go ahead and get this one out of the way in case any fanbois show up.

I want this level of info for every luxury brand. Ever try to find a used BMW with a Driver Assist Plus package? Not fun.

For real, Cadillac’s product planning over the past few years has been the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. I’ll never understand why the fuck they didn’t keep V as their top tier; it’s like they want buyers to be confused.

But realistically - who *actually* buy Ferraris? Rich old duffers. They have no desire to drive a stickshift anything. And the small handful of rich *drivers* who buy them all want to be Lewis Hamilton with the flappy paddles, because the flappy paddle box is 5 seconds faster around the ‘ring. Easier to go fast at the

Realistically the people that would book a cruise right now are people that are not taking a whole lot of precautions in general and would statistically be more likely to be infected as they are getting on. It’s a vicious cycle I tell ya

I have my suspicions.

Bring A Trailer”, because “Launder Money” would have been obvious.

Damn son. Weren’t we in this situation with muscle cars and Barrett-Jackson fever not too long ago?

Nothing...literally nothing

I hope AAA cancels your account. Not just for abusing their services for an unnecessary tow, but also whining that they didn’t get to your non-emergency towing fast enough?

Autopilot is not their ridiculous “FSD” and isn’t really any different from any other company’s driver-assist tech. So, no, it doesn’t make the cars uninsurable. And go sit in a car with cloth seats and one with well-made pleather seats and honestly tell me the cloth is better.

I promise you, the current spec Formula E cars are MUCH faster around a lap than anything Tesla has ever built.
