Mine is M54 3L but yeah they all seem to do it. I can easily fix the oil filter housing gasket but the car is Xdrive which means the oil pan gasket is a huge pain in the dick and not worth doing so I just live with it.

I mean this is just the tradeoff of going for all power and efficiency and not fully engineering the car for actual track use.

My BMW has something called an oil pan gasket and oil filter housing gasket that does the same thing. Not a spec of rust under the car but my driveway looks like an Autozone parking spot.

I know a few genesis owners and they keep them forever. Around me they come with 20 year 200k mile warranty so you would be stupid not to keep them forever.

Agree, even though I think iDrive is one of the best remote control systems I still require a touch screen option. It is a deal breaker for me.

I like iDrive but I disagree that touch screen controls are bad. Modern ones in BMW or others are very similar to your smart phone in regards to responsiveness and usability.
