No, probably not. For slander, the fan would have to show the statements were false and damaging in some way. It doesn’t appear that anything Dolan is saying is untrue. You don’t have the right to stop someone from simply talking about you, even if you’re not a public figure.

It doesn’t have to be. Sports/team culture definitely can get toxic, but the good teams and the good coaches that I’ve been involved with haven’t functioned that way. Good leadership can curtail a lot of abusive team behaviors.
