A while back I was talking comedians with my therapist, when I mentioned Mitch. She had never heard of him, and the first quote that came to my mind was the one about playing tennis with a wall. That fucker is relentless. Did my best attempt at Mitch's cadence, it was enough to make her laugh, and then repeat the joke

The DC metro has a lot of temporary staircases.

Did you hit GWAr Bar while you were in town? Been meaning to make the trip.

Only one way to find out.

Many years ago Bill Crystal played Moscow.

Russians and Floridians do share common skills with insurance fraud.

Al only plays Leningrad.

But no DC show. I guess Bmore is close enough, but still, you can go to Portsmouth but not DC or the suburbs? I could totally see him at Strathmore.

And there crazy Al Pacino worked because the character was crazy in terms of his obsessing over his cases at the expense of his personal life. Ever since then, it's just been him yelling at things for no reason.

At least the title of the show sounds closer to the original Japanese: car- a- oke instead of Carrie-oke, which is how most people say it.

What it is wit you? You on some sissy diet or something?

Just to compare industries - ex hippies went Wall Street/corporate, while in the 90's and 00's, people of age went more into startups, which had a DIY ethos closer to punk rock. Maybe that's overselling it a bit, but it's far less of a sellout.

Or is it that Elvis died before he had the chance?

It's not the video mockery we need, but the mockery we deserve.

Yup. Same rhythm and timing.

The Dead Head on a Cadillac makes sense because of the disillusionment of the 80's when so many ex hippies became yuppies. Did that really happen with 80's punks becoming yuppies in the 00's?

I miss that show.

Rock Your Body was written for Michael Jackson. Wonder where Timberlake would be if MJ didn't pass on it.

Ionic = not Corinthian or Doric

Such a stupid cover. A song about nostalgia and looking back on youth, covered by barely 20 somethings.
