Yea exactly, its as cheap as or cheaper than a standalone. I can’t imagine buying a standalone player over an Xbone One S, unless the standalone price dropped to $200 or lower. I am half sold since I already have a 4K HDR TV...however...these alleged confirmations of no UHD player is a serious misstep by Sony. That is one of the biggest things I was looking forward to and now...well..I don’t want to cough up $400 for PS4Pro AND $300 for an UHD player.

If you have a 4K TV or plan to buy one in the future, I would just go with the PS4 Pro. If you are getting the VR, I’d go with the Pro. If you have no desire to get a 4K TV, then the Slim is adequate.
