I’ve seen a few lots with signs prohibiting backward parking. Not in recent memory though. Usually so parking enforcement could easily see parking stickers on rear window or similar function. In Florida we do not have front license plates, so that’s another possibility. Easy to see plates to check for expired ones.

Or require backup cams on trucks?

We traded a 2011 Kia Forte for a 2016 Nissan Altima around six months ago. The Altima has sensors all around and blind spot warning. Both vehicles included backup cameras.
