I am planning on seeing this film, when its available for streaming. Like Denzel’s character, I am on the spectrum myself, and this might be one of those films that I have to watch again, in order to grasp it.

Unfortunately, the majority of economic decisions in the US right now are very short sighted - the system encourages that, when profit margins are tracked on a monthly, or quarterly basis and shareholders have a cow if it drops - then long term, strategic planning goes out the window.

I like her work and really think Fledgling would make an excellent film, or possibly a series if the writers expanded on the world and covered the backstory as well as moved the story forward.
