I'm as easily distracted by shiny things as the next talking monkey, but I just can't get past people thinking something has an inflated value because the people who market it tell you it does.

Ahh I wondered if it was just one of those things that was diffrent between the US and the UK.

Not so much, they give of very little light. The numbers in this post seem to have just been made up.

You think it's a sensible comparison to compare a guy who sent unwanted emails and someone who puts a shot gun in a bank tellers mouth? One of those people is dangerous and needs to be locked away, the other isn't and doesn't.

A camera is fine, two is bloody stupid. They could have put one much better camera in instead.

The whole point is that high powered LED's are massivly more efficient. While you can drive them hard for massive light you can choose not to and then gain runtime instead.

As they are supposed to be recyled I don't see how that is a problem.
