I use a glove when doing 2D animation, too, but to keep my Cintiq clean since we animate digitally. :)

This lane system is actually very similar to something Treasure did in Guardian Heroes back in the 90s. It was brilliant and I'm surprised no one had copied them till now. It's on Xbox Live Arcade if you want to check it out. I highly recommend it.

Aaah, I think you may have misinterpreted my point. I'm not concerned over the boy-band-ness or prettiness so much as overall design criticism (which may in this case be off-topic, but I felt it was relevant). My issue with the character designs is they are mostly similar heights, builds, silhouettes, color scheme,

I think there is a fair difference between the examples you gave from older FF games and this line-up of characters that's worth maybe some criticism. If you lined up the FF6 male cast, FF7 male cast, or FF8 male cast, you'd have a line up of very different silhouettes and color schemes. At a glance, it'd be easy to

Is it possible you were experiencing additional lag due to streaming at the same time? Just curious if lag issues were tested outside the stream as well..

That looked pretty nifty! Might have to pick this up.

Nintendo is just getting in to it but apparently knows how to do DLC better than most of the competition.

...I can't really see this working for most folks. I have an above average Internet connection, but my upstream is still more than likely way too slow to allow for a decent experience. I doubt many people will be able to utilize this.

I see what you're saying about Terror's latest episode, but it's still been one of the best directed anime of the season and deserves the benefit of the doubt that they're going somewhere with this new development (hopefully). And let's be fair, Sword Art being on your final list after what the first series pulled in

To me, if they just brought the 7 day rental price down to $5-7 like a normal rental, then outright killed the 30 or 90 day options, they would be good. Renting anything for 30 or 90 days just doesn't make much sense, and it makes their price point seem that much more ridiculous.

What exactly are the new effects/features this mod is unlocking? I've watched a couple videos, but as far as I can tell it's just adding a little depth of field blur to distant objects and pumping up lens flares?

Well, this whole thing isn't just done by two people, they just have two animators. Granted doing the animation is certainly a ton of work and they're doing great work, but if they have help with the 3D, BGs, clean-up, compositing, etc and suddenly the task isn't quite so bad. I wouldn't be surprised if they're also

I'm seeing some signs of photo manipulation in places...but there's also quite a bit that would have to be hand-painted. So, hard to say, but either way there's quite a bit of awesomeness involved.

Yeah, parodies like this have a bad habit of getting more people who actually believe this stuff behind the cause unintentionally. Sadly, some of this may seem ridiculous to us, but anyone not in the know only gets fake statistics and info they use to justify their anger and rally them further.

Neat, I actually want to play half of these.

I'm pretty sure it is exactly that: new character/created character inserts himself in DBZ. Probably a terrible idea, but we'll see.

This is absolutely not the payment model they should be using for this service.

For the love of god, this. The new hardware is a perfect place for a Metroid to get the dark, creepy atmosphere it deserves.

I always loved this boss, but it's always made me sad that every time I've ever fought him, even the first time when I was a kid, I had beefed up my characters to such a ridiculous degree it was a cake walk. I wish at least once I could remember it being an epic struggle like the imagery would lead you to believe!

What must we do to get this game to come out here.
