I don’t know why peopld have trouble grasping that sound quality is a huge issue at these mega-events. Times Square looks like a sound engineer’s worst nightmare. It has nothing to do with whether a vocalist can sing, it has to do with whether a vocalist could hear their band and come in on queue.
