I’d have to agree that a horribly burned and obviously traumatized, dying girl is probably not in the clearest mind that her dying words will necessarily lead Agatha Christie-like to her real killer. I just graduated from law school, and one thing we learned in civil procedure is that juries are literally selected based on how likely a lawyer thinks they are to swallow a story. Critical thinking abilities are a deal-breaker. Anyone who knows anything - science, law, law enforcement, biology, literally anything…

Look, I have absolutely no idea about the particulars of this case, but while “Quentin” and “Derek” have little pronunciation resemblance - “Tellis” and “Derek” do.

So all the evidence point to him but because the firefighters might have heard her say another name WHILE SHE WAS ON FIRE, he’s aquitted? How can those jurors sleep at night? That name could be anything, she could have remembered a tv show or the kid sitting next to her in first grade. She probably wasn’t thinking…

It is so rewarding! I bet a shelter or rescue nearyou would fall over themselves to loan you a dog to do classes with if you don’t have a pupper at the moment. The dog world is basically my main social circle right now and it’s full of wonderful supportive women. I love it.
