Poodletime II: the Return of Poodletime

True, so, so much.

I think he threw Pence under the bus a while ago, when he was contemplating replacing him on the ticket with somebody more entrancing. I haven’t caught up with his more recent stuff. If he’s throwing Pence under the bus right now, he’s probably trying to signal to the Republican senators that if they vote to impeach

This is not about getting a maniacal partisan who seems to do well on TV on the case of defending Trump against impeachment. It’s about getting him a job in the White House, so that the Trumpsters’ bizarre assertions that Lewandowski’s actions before Trump was elected are covered by executive privilege.

Yeah, I missed that one. But I remember hearing news stories from a couple of weeks ago that trump was considering replacing Pence as his running mate in 2020, so maybe that is in respect to this.

There should be a hearing where they find out who is responsible for the mystery server and ask them to produce the tape, then take the opportunity to question that person about the mystery server.

There you go!

Despite randomGuy’s convincing argument, I have to agree with you. His subsequent assertions, “the President is not a member of the intelligence community,” are weak sauce and specious.  I think he knew what he was doing, and why.

So, so, so agree.  I wondered about that from the beginning.

It’s bullshit of the highest order. The law is very clear. The IG clears it, the DNI passes it on. That’s all there is. The rest is just B.S. and excuse-making. I’m sure that if there was a fly on the wall at the time, it would show that the DNI took one look at content of the complaint that was passed back to

I am more concerned that Maguire ignored the rule of law in making this decision, and throwing the hot potato in the lap of the White House in an attempt to take the heat off himself. I am most of all, very concerned that person after person after person after person ignores the law and uses their own “judgement” (tRu

And.......

The Prosecutor was corrupt as hell, and multiple friends of Ukraine worked really hard to get the Prosecutor turfed out, including multiple agencies from the EU, from the UN, and from other international justice and democracy organizations.

And then the Republicans put the picture on a special server separate from all other servers!

It was very odd.

Tell us more!!!

After softening us up for 3 years, their ace in the hole is going to be that Executive Privilege trumps (!) everything else, and that Trump is immune from investigation or questioning or anything. Seriously, their constant drum-beating about “executive privilege,” when it doesn’t apply in the case of a crime being

Gina Haspel!

Yeah, but what would really be required to deal with this fucker is Congresscritters with more balls. I’m sitting here watching the hearing, and to a man/woman, the Congresscritters are letting the DNI ignore, slide out of, and tap-dance around direct questions, and utterly failing to force the witness to answer

I certainly feel cursed.

Ding! Ding!
