My dad does that too! Always talking to babies that are looking at him with intense distrust. And he has actually told a baby that I am his baby too. Can’t believe there’s more than one of them in the world, but my dad is a wonderful and awesome weirdo, so I’m happy about it!

That’s wasps, not bees.

Bees should not be a catch-all word. Bees and wasps have very different habits. One should be welcomed and encouraged to be in everyone’s yards and gardens. One is an aggressive, meat eating asshole. As a beekeeper it irritates me to no end when people complain about “bees” when they are actually talking about wasps.
