Does anyone know how to get Verizon to move the upgrade date? I am eligible to upgrade Oct. 28th, but would like to try and snag a new iPhone when it launches. Anyone have experience in convincing Verizon to push your upgrade date up?

You are correct. When I sit down and watch TV I cannot see any pixels on my HDTV. On the other-hand, when I am changing the DVD in my Xbox, I can see each pixel since I am extremely close to the TV set.
