I think it's just bully psychology mixed with that weird strain of mild sociopathy that seems to run through large swathes of humanity. People project their own problems onto other people or distract themselves by focusing on the "problems" of other people in media & magazines because not actually having to engage

Although I do think questions still need to be asked of much mainstream pornographic culture, I do whole heartedly agree a lot people & academics seem to underestimate female participation in the new waves of porn & erotica that the modern internet has helped flourish.

This is a really wonderful takedown. Unfortunately I can't help feel anyone who didn't spot the bullshit before even reading the article it is going to be turned off it no matter how much facts n' logic gets chucked at them.

Needs more gifs.

This is probably an illustration of the gulf in body issues between men & women, but I just had to google what the hell cellulite even was.

Which is specifically why "It's my faith" is such a bullshit argument in my view. If they wanted they could use their faith to justify peace, love, freedom and good will to all, as many who share their faith do. Instead they've chosen bigotry, sexism and division to express their "faith."

The "pro-life" movement is like a bad Internet forum, except with even less self awareness. People often hypothesize that people would be nicer to each other online if they actual met face-to-face and got the sense that were talking to actual real people.

What weirds me out is the context in which they apparently cannot imagine teenagers doing anything else in their free time other then fucking. I mean there's almost certainly some of that going on but even those kids will be doing other stuff on the side. When I was teen I would sometimes read a story like this and

I've never seen anything simultaneously so adorable and so motion-sickness inducing.

Here's a modern one I dug out for the first time in a year or two - GRID, TOCA's spiritual successor. Honestly not sure why I stopped playing in the first place, it's a frenetic tyre-smoking petrol head's wet dream. Forza's fantastic but if you want an accessible racing game with cars doing awesome crap to each other

That game was the goddamn business back in the day, I'm amazed it isn't better remembered.

I'm glad somebody mentioned that, I thought I recognised the style almost immediately but I had no idea she'd had ever done work for Archie.

This song is a corner stone of my entire masculine identity. A jaunty, upbeat anthem about a sexual act of consensual generosity - now that's a message for modern men to aspire to.

Using your infant daughter's life threatening illness to bolster your own floundering career in professional dickery.

Wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey?

Yep.

Will this be the safety car at the Bahrain GP?

Ladies & gentlemen: Behold the glory of Miriam Margoyles.

I think Hadley Freeman has the best take (as she often does) pointing out the Daily Mail's long and sad history of deliberately painting women and the women who write for them as vapid, spiteful, mean wenches who aren't allowed to be older then 25 and should settle for a man and some kids ASAP.
