The only sort-of nationalism I see is the universal and contrived disdain for American cars. You 'journalists' don't even try to hide it anymore. Meanwhile if it has a roundel, 3 point star, or interlocking rings, you can't stop telling us how great it is.
First off, thats amazing. Second, nice Jeep.
Does fluid film count as a hack? Or does it qualify as a god send for people living in rust belts? The stuff is absolutely amazing..I took these pictures at the same time
I'm not sure how an aluminum body would change the aftermarket at all, so I don't see that being a problem.
Ladies and gentlemen, the 1990s:
Just stop! Did you NOT read the article. The car is ONLY here to make it a viable entity (justify its' existence) where it;s actually sold. Stop tryna turn this into some "GM is still the exact same as they were' argument.
This is one of those 'none before it, none to come' deals, so how do you make "normal' biz…
This car is a performer. It's damn near everything that Jalops like and/or want. But it doesn't look ostentatious, so we (commenters) largely hate it?
Interesting factoid: The inaugural race at Sebring, on December 31, 1950, was won by a Crosley Hot Shot. Scoring was based on the Index of Efficiency (a concept borrowed from Le Mans, which used it to bolster small-car manufacturers). It was a last-minute entry after some enterprising racers took a close look at the…

You want original? You want a true, one of a kind 12-cylinder behemoth and a proper 5-speed manual? And (maybe) diesel?
What? Everyone knows in fast cars the throttle is a binary control. On/Off. I got rid of cars and now only own slow trucks.
I hear ya. I also don't have problems driving high power cars around but you and I have experiences most people don't. I suppose it might be fair to say that a typical Hellcat buyer would (hopefully) have had similar experiences to us. but even then who knows, 707 is in another world of power compared to the roughly…
This. People are talking about it like the accelerator is linked to a light switch that either idles the engine or gives you full redline with 700hp. I've driven some high horsepower vehicles and never had trouble cruising around without lighting up the rear tires.
just keep telling yourself that
Pro Tip: If something is spinning all 4 wheels in the snow no matte what...it's the tires, not the AWD.
Subaru. They bind worse than my truck in a tight turn
In an interview with The Detroit News Tuesday, Wilson said he thinks GM is holding on to way too much cash. He said that even with an $8 billion buyback, GM should still have $20 billion on hand by next year. He said the hedge funds are “prepared to take our case to where we need to,” but said it isn’t clear if GM…
