The ecoboost Mustang would only be a muscle car if the ecoboost were the most powerful engine available from the factory. It is not, so this is a Pony car.

The old Cruze wasn’t as small as any of those though. I agree it was a little portly, but it was all done in structure. I’d put money down on it being the most robust platform in the segment.
