I think we’ll see another 7L NA
more like the end of the straight 6 is the only choice you have at Chevy Era
Eh, GM still let their divisions play a little. 88-90 All Wheel drive Pontiac 6000, 89-90 Grand Prix Turbo, W-body Cutlass Convertible, Typhoon, Syclone, Reatta, Allante, GTO, G8, SS, Solstic/Sky (slightly weaker examples), Malibu Maxx, G6 convertible, G6 coupe...
you mean like every BMW...
Just wait until they start going after the particulate emissions these Direct Injection gas engines are putting out...Then the real fun of the morons vs. the rest of us begins.
Used to do a few events a year with the Boston BMW club, SHO club, Viper club...
auto-x’ed a 90 Turbo Grand Prix coupe for years...I’m with ya brother.
I’m not sure why people are so afraid of “economy turbos”, or any turbos for that matter. They aren’t as scary and complex as people make them out to be, and they are very reliable as long as you change the damn oil (preferably synthetic) every 10K miles or so.
Needs shocks! Simple as that.
sorry, I missed the “non-Can-Am”....I thought you had a Can-am.
There was only one size V8 offered dude (well 400 and 403, but you actually wanted the 400 Pontiac Engine not the 403 Olds) and the TH350 was all that was offered.
eh, I was with you until you tried to compare price of a used Honda to a New BRZ...Not everyone wants a used car...especially a used performance car.
huh? the 2.8 had from 15 to 40 hp more than the iron duke
Freaking luggage racks and GM...they put them on EVERYTHING in the 80’s up until the mid 90’s.
with all due respect (are you due respect? I don’t know you but you seem decent enough) Wiki can be modified by just about anyone who wants to submit info.
there is no way in hell these were on 2800 lbs...not even with a stripped interior.
I remember seeing that same group of Maxima’s at those Boston BMW events
bland looking, most have rusted away, and only the 89-92ish ones are the least bit interesting, this was before they watered them down to appeal the the Camcord crowd.
They might have been “more lax” but the technology to get to even those levels just wasn’t there yet without killing HP.
