Woo for Kent State’s Michael Keaton!
Woo for Kent State’s Michael Keaton!
You have that backwards about Michael. When the show started he was American David Brent, but as it went on there was a marked decrease in his shittiness.
I can tell you from experience as a crewmember: No. No, we would not want that. We already work enough long ass hours and being forced to do so even more is not worth the overtime that we may not even get anyway.
This is what the public has the right to know about a celebrity dying:
Have you given the show a chance? It’s changed a lot over the years but it’s had some great moments.
Thanks!
Yes, he was one of the stars of Life In Pieces! I’ve been following Colin’s career since his time on Roswell, and he’s worked steadily ever since, appearing in nearly 30 movies and about 25 TV series. He got Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Fargo. Does indeed come across as charming, funny, and well-adjusted.
Loved him in Life in Pieces! And wasn’t he in Dexter? I’ll have to seek out his podcasts.
Yeah - he was good in Life in Pieces and The Good Guys too.
I remember that. And when Whitney died she pretended to be all sad.
I take it you missed yesterday’s announcement that HBO renewed the show. Or do you mean the show will only have one good season?
Since “Karens” are racists who fabricate false charges to sic the authorities on minorities, the term in no way applies to these characters in this episode. Instead, as the author described, Marian’s faux pas at Peggy’s house reflect and stem from Marian’s white privilege.
I don't think of it as a Karen moment; Marian was clearly horribly embarrassed by her mistake(s). A true Karen would have insisted she'd done nothing wrong.
This is classic abusive behavior bordering on criminal. I almost want to see a restraining order against Kanye here because this is NOT OK. It’s bullying, it’s narcissistic and it’s unhinged and we’ve seen how these situations end badly for the women.
I guess that’s what excited me about this. The outline of the stories Tolkien left seem wildly intriguing. Perfect set up for new writers to fill in. Like, you’re getting tell Elrond’s story? What was it like being raised by the sociopaths who murdered his people and kidnapped him and how does it affect him? How does…
thanks for perspective, I guess sometimes you get pulled into the hesitancy portrayed of housing projects in the media that I often associate all of them as poor housing alternatives, or that the developer has considered the actual people the houses would be serving, so thanks for checking me on that :)
This is all has such Tom Cruise shoppping for girlfriends vibes. Why is she talking so much about it? Why did they have their first date documented with an article and photo shoot? Oddly, I find none of it the least bit intriguing. It’s just so unhinged that I can’t help but look. Is that the design?
Just my opinion but Elsa is by FAR the worst character in that show. I can’t stand her and I keep hoping the annoying dreamy Middle School poetry narration will stop.
I now have a ritual every Monday where I watch 1883, the western/Oregon Trail show on CBS, and then follow it up with this show. They happen in the same year, basically.
“Do I have Tubi?” Gotta get the shirt made for Jason
