I’ve always considered this show ridiculous and amusing but not enough to quit watching it. But the current season is bizarre. Feels like they’re cramming only half of a season’s worth of story into a full season. They drew out the Lloyd/Walker feud so excruciatingly long. And I don’t care one bit about the other…

Bill Hader playing three vaguely Hungarian people who are maybe scamming Larry is such a batshit premise but goddamn does it work.

Thats my theory when I watch. She realized her friends were super lame and bolted as soon as she could to live the rest of her life fabulously. 

This show is making me nuts. I don’t know why I watch it. Everyone is terrible. My theory is that Samantha realized that Carrie is a selfish, awful friend, got tired of the three of them having to constantly tend to her, and decided to make some sweeping life changes.

I read and loved the book, but haven’t really consumed any of the other media, so I am fully prepared for this series, and the Jennifer Lawrence movie.

Not to be cruel, I love her as an actress....but “I can’t figure what’s going on” has sort of been the working description of Nicole Kidman’s face for the past decade or so.

All the Prius stuff too. Plus Ferrell's college job and his wonderfully nonchalant description of it. A lot to like in that movie. Works well because it mocks the values of cop action movies rather than the plots.
