Oh I understand. Maybe she just got in so deep she couldn’t see a way out other than to keep the lie going. She claimed she got that from the founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison. “Fake it til you make it”. That’s fine for a computer company. Not for medical devices.

She also forged documents from Pfizer and another pharmaceutical company. Put their logos on Theranos documents and changed text to show favorable results when none existed.

Holmes doesn’t need anyone’s assistance making her look hollow and inauthentic. She was a liar, and a con artist, and in no uncertain terms, a horrible person. She had her security people threatening employees who were trying to expose that Theranos was a house of cards, that she was duping investors and corporate…

According to testimony in Holmes’ trial, the doctor to a woman who had suffered several miscarriages used one of these good ideas to test her blood for proteins that indicate if the fetus is growing at the correct rate. The blood test indicated she had miscarried.

It’s not like he had a lot to work with. 50 Shades of Grey is trash.

The description says “charismatic rancher”, so it would leave you to believe that. Maybe Sam and his pals thought it was a Western.

The old Betty Broderick tv movie with  Meredith Baxter and Stephen Collins was much better.  Meredith nailed Betty’s jealous rage and spiral into insanity.  

Amanda Peet? Are you kidding?  I’m sorry, she’s cute in comedies but she couldn’t keep up with the talent in this cast.  Carrie Coon is perfection. 

I thought it was the Russells’ butler who ratted on Bannister. I am starting to think Raikes is up to no good. How does he get all these invitations to balls, etc. And why is he so hell bent on Marian? She doesn’t have money, and won’t inherit any.

The man was an actor/comedian and even competed on Ukrainian version of Dancing with the Stars, and won.

Is opening a bag of salad and pouring salad dressing directly into the bag considered cooking? That’s about all I remember. Other than a lot of pizza and eating at Luke’s.

He was great in Dopesick.  It’s a hard watch, but worth it.
