Mrs. Orca and I have discussed this at length and the answer is an unequivocal YES for both of us. If it gets to the point where my quality of life degrades to “someone else wiping my ass”, put me on an ice floe and kick me out to sea (assuming there’s any Arctic ice left at that point).

Both of my grandfathers died of Alzheimer’s and I was able to see up close and personal how absolutely brutal and terrifying the whole experience is. Odds are, I will get it too. I’ve told my wife and our friends to put me down when they know it’s time.

That’s a really hard one, he was forgetful but still himself for I would say 3-5 years of that decade and just sort of forgetful for a few years before that, so it’s hard to say I’m going to deprive my family of 5 years of myself to save them 5 years of taking care of me. It’s dumb but had he killed himself right away…

why do they need to do jail time? If it was consensual and all the boys are under 18. Or do you think all sex by people under 18 is rape?

It's not about them running. It's their criminal records at such a young age. The world lost nothing with their deaths.

Perhaps I haven’t searched hard enough, but I don’t think anyone is saying they deserved to die because they ran from cops. They died because they made a mistake. You can’t blame the officers for not risking their lives to save theirs. Police have an obligation to do whatever they can within reasonable limits, but…
