Saw The Creator in IMAX. It was OK. I’ll watch it again when it comes to streaming, but at first glance what it reminded me of was Blade Runner and Elysium.

Very much agree. Season 4 got me curious again, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that they really stretched things out more than they needed to.

Agree. Don’t pull a Westworld.

I like commuting and working in an office, but it’s because I’m terrible at working from home. It’s been proven that people can work remotely and still be productive, even more so. WTF is wrong with these top-brass nitwits?

I see much of why this movie gets panned, but I really enjoy the characters and story and watch it from time to time (in the background or going to sleep). There’s a bit of personal nostalgia, which is probably why: the music-only montage of the hero sacrificing himself against losing odds to protect his friends b/c

Get over yourself.

Who will watch this stupid movie?

Bring back del Toro and incorporate the Pacific Rim universe and it’ll all work out.

STFU Millar. And GTFO Snyder.

Post-credit scenes actually fit the comic book form rather appropriately, as the last pages are supposed to hook you into anticipating the next issue. But I do think his criticism is right to a degree as well, as applied to other genres of movies/directors that utilize such scenes.

Penfold, shush.

I wasn’t a regular reader of Cap, but doesn’t he strap his shield to his back when he does a lot of his movements?

Nailed it. The real problem is Colangelo is a moron.

Lizzie all day err-day

Dumb.

I like this breakdown. If only they’d done a better job of writing and executing it. The ideas are good, but I thought the writing was sloppy and the characters generally unlikeable and uninteresting.

Ironic how Bob’s advice came back to bite him in the end.

I really want a Tecate right now.

I think the “Peter” theme works well in the context of the still-existing-USSR and the subversive-slave theme throughout the movie. Prokofiev lived under the communist regime, and Peter & The Wolf is propaganda aimed at indoctrinating pro-revolution children, encouraging them to challenge/subvert the established order

Swamp Thing meets Solaris.
