This week, I watched the French film Chamade (1969) starring Catherine Deneuve. At one point in the film, she finds out she is pregnant by her boyfriend, whom she lives with in a shitty little apartment. She decides she is not ready for a baby and she wouldn't want to raise one within their current living conditions…
